We are thrilled to celebrate a significant milestone in our portfolio: the grand opening of Haglöfs’ global flagship store on Shanghai’s iconic Huaihai Road. The event was graced by key leaders including the Vice Mayor of Huangpu District and the Consulate General of Sweden in Shanghai, alongside our fellow partners. Haglöfs, official partner of the Swedish Olympic Committee (SOK), introduces the Team SWE Mitten – a technical, versatile mitten designed for both outdoor adventures and everyday urban use. As the official supplier to the Swedish Olympic Team at the 2026 Winter Olympics Milano Cortina 2026, Haglöfs continues to deliver products that combine high performance with recycled materials.
“We are super proud and excited to play a part in the Olympics,” says Martin Daniels, CEO of Haglöfs. “For 111 years, Haglöfs has kept people warm and protected in the outdoors. Supporting the Swedish team at the 2026 Winter Olympics is a natural continuation of our legacy that combines innovation, function, and responsibility.”
The lightweight and packable Team SWE Mitten combines warmth and function and is ideal both for sports activities and easy everyday use. It features an insulation made from recycled synthetic fibers that stays warm even in damp conditions.

Haglöfs AB today announces it’s distributor HAYL’s grand opening of the first-ever Haglöfs flagship store in South Korea. The store is a significant 421m² space located at the base of Dobongsan National Park, a prominent outdoor destination just north of Seoul. The new store will carry the brand’s full assortment of technical gear and apparel.
The collaboration between Haglöfs and HAYL is crucial for this expansion. Mr. Ji-Hwan Lee, CEO of HAYL, commented on the new store’s location:
“Opening our flagship store at Dobongsan National Park means being a key part of Seoul’s outdoor culture – where the metropolis meets the mountains. With trails for both first-time hikers and experienced mountaineers, and easy access year-round, it embodies Haglöfs’ belief that nature should be open, welcoming, and within reach for everyone.”
The new retail concept, named “Nature Inside, Life Outdoors,” emphasizes contrasts, highlighting both the human and the engineered elements that are at the very core of the Haglöfs brand. It will offer Korean consumers a fresh and immersive Haglöfs experience. This marks an exciting milestone as Haglöfs expands its presence into one of Asia’s most promising outdoor markets.
