Dr. Shen is a senior manager with more than 19 years of experience in healthcare sector, spanning clinical practice as a physician, hospital management and healthcare IT. Dr. Shen’s experience includes: Principal of Siemens Medical Information Services Business China (Grop annual revenues of more than € 1 billion), iSoft Group (CSC Medical Systems) Asia Pacific Solutions and Clinical Director, and Deputy General Manager of the United Family Hospital (China’s first Sino-American joint hospital). During his career at Siemens, Dr. Shen was named Global Manager Elite as a future leader by Siemens Group (Germany) Human Resources.

Before coming back to China, Dr. Shen was a clinician in the public sector in Australia and a military doctor (Surgeon-Lieutenant) of the Royal Australian Navy. He was in the UN peacekeeping force and responsible for medical logistics operation in the anti-terrorist operation of the Sydney Olympics. Dr. Shen has a deep understanding in medical information field of expanding his business (market entry, intelligence forecasting, cooperation strategy, etc.), sales, operations (customer management, marketing strategy and pricing), product management and R&D (previously in charge of the clinical outsourcing team of more than 1,000 people).

Dr. Shen is well-known in medical information industry and has been invited to attend conferences in PRC, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia. He has also been a special guest at the Intel Global Centrino Technology Conference and Intel Capital’s keynote speech. Dr. Shen holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Western Australia and entered Medical School at the age of 16 as a top 200 student in Australia (Australian Outstanding Student Award). He completed a Graduate degree in Corporate Finance and was awarded the ABN AMRO Morgan Award. During his Royal Australian Navy service, Dr. Shen was the top office graduate in his class and received the Australian War Service Award.
